A rarity in that this monograph is in English and Italian, the publishers have cruelly foregone an overview of Paladino's career in favour of a 40 page phenomenological reading into a handful of his works. The following 300 pages, however, provide beautiful reproductions of his output from 1972-2001. It's a study with an emphasis on Paladino as a painter, but the final section titled 'Photo Album' provides informal shots of public interactions with his installations (there is a great shot of kids climbing the Montagna Di Sale) along with plenty of photos featuring the artist at home with Eolo and Ciro, his lovely dogs.
